About me:
Here is the start to our Upstate NY Wine Blog!! CnT's vacation house in upstate NY is almost finished. One thing we spoke about during the SIX months of purchasing, construction, and revival of our house was that once the weather was nice we would tour each vineyard around the lakes.
When visiting the area you mainly go to the large vineyards or pick a few of the smaller ones. We have grown disappointed with the larger vineyards but the smaller ones seemed to be hit or miss. Now we will have the time to explore each one and really judge the wines. The other thing being judged is the overall feel of the vineyard. You can have the best wine but an obnoxious owner or annoying pourer really lessens the overall experience. Here we will judge the wine AND the overall experience.
Now, on to the wine ....
