I don't have time to read for pleasure. Most of the books I read these days are about research and statistics. Exciting stuff!

The short answer is because there's work here. Anyone who's ever been on vacation in or just passed through West Virginia might have noticed that in the middle of all the beauty of my home, there are lots of people who can't find work. Not me. I spent too much time in college to watch my life waste away. I've gone through some crappy jobs to finally find one I enjoy. I'm an audiologist, a part-time soldier, and Ph.D student. I have a wife and two daughters who take up what little time I have to spare. Life is good.

My hubbie has been out of town for almost 3 weeks, which is not normally a big deal but I am 4 1/2 mos pregnant and on modified bedrest due to some complications so I have been lonely/depressed sitting around my house all day long watching day time tv! It is a little better now, he is coming home this weekend. I hope things are going good with you!
