  • Bio

Cartographers began playing music in the summer of 2007 with the sole intent to make lots of money. That was deemed too easy so they decided to remove the training wheels and aspire to making interesting music here in the fine underdog city of San Antonio, TX. The line up needed a year or so to work itself out… so if you have a personal problem, don’t worry because time heals most everything. Things Cartographers Don’t Like: enthusiastically professional bands/artists, creationism/mythology, boring art, band bios and bad PA’s. Things Cartographers Love: cleverness, musical competency, band practice and nice sounding PA’s. In 2008 Cartographers released their full-length debut. In 2010 they joined up with a local collective of artists known as Bedlamb Records and at least one band member got a new dog. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..!!!
