About me:

Tattooing is my life, and it's a good one. I've been tattooing and piercing since 1995, but as a full time career since 1998. I love it but it does consume your life. I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, which comes in very handy when dealing with the other psychotic tattoo shops and tattoo artists in town. My wife and I have owned and operated Energy Tattoo in Santa Barbara CA since 1998, www.energytattoo.com. A great little mom and pop shop that really focuses on custom art and being friendly to all who come in...well within reason. We have the best staff in Santa Barbara and we always pay attention to the sterility and the customers experience first. I like to tell people, "We are not the cool kids on State Street...WE ARE THE NORMAL ones..." Who would have thought NORMAL would go so far. That's right, NO DRUGS/NO ALCOHOL!!! My wife and I have been the equivalent to sports agents for tattoo artists to some of the greatest tattoo masters in the world since 1998. Creating the first company to license, market, and sell tattoo art for products to mainstream America. It is kind of a graphic design company made up of tattoo artists. The first company is called The Traditions Collection, or as we refer to it TTC or Traditions. You can find this company on the web at www.thetraditionscollection.com. This company focuses on Central California's newest and finest line of wine, featuring label art by tattoo artists, an internationally distributed line of Zippo brand lighters, and fine art prints of many of our artists. The other company is called Rock of Ages which is very similar to TTC but it focuses on a line of clothing and other merchandise. You can find this merch at therockofages.net.
