Im an artist, musician, singer/songwriter, inventor, sculptor, architect and bohemian. I enjoy Brittish comedies, educational television, Jazz music, fried chicken, and driving with All the car windows down. I enjoy going out but usually prefer to stay at home to work on whatever project Im doing at the time. I am interested in living a content, non-materialistic, life and in, screwing the man whenever I can (tho not actually litterally of course). I have no interest in getting a steady, corporate, career-oriented day job, altho I do have a daily job to pay my few bills, I work in a local small buisness selling toys. I enjoy living simply and cheaply working only for what I need. I do, however, make-do without alot; a girlfriend included in that as they are next most costly thing to have around after a child... altho I plan to get married in the next few years so Im not saying Im aganst the idea alltogether mind...Music
I like older music... Jazz, classical, folk, bluegrass, rock, alternative music, singer/songwriters, blues, etc... my favorites are: Tom Waits, Ben Kweller, Elvis Costello, The Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Coldplay, Randy Newman, Dizzy Gillespi, Edvard Grieg, The mammas and the Pappas, Beck, Ani DeFranco, The Clash, Brian Setzer, Reel Big Fish, Squirrel nut Zippers, Jazz trios, Standards, The Beatles, The Doors, The Lovin Spoonful, and most everything popular in the mid 90s (ah, nostalgia) - oh, and myself I guessMovies
I like independent films, foreign films, and any film that is stylized... like tim burton... some of my favorites are, edward scissorhands, brazil, fear and loathing in las vegas, the nightmare before christmas, breakfast of champions, Rushmore, As good as it gets, caveman, only cowgirls get the blues, The talented Mr ripley, usual suspects, phenomenon, pulp fiction, the man who sued God, trainspotting, the goonies, the teenage mutant ninja turtles, waking life, monkey bone, everything monty python ever did, canibal the musical, old kung foo movies, vincint (a short), claymation, stop-motion, classic cartoons, snatch, fight club, twelve monkeys, cube (but not the second one), national lampoon stuff, memento, the harry potter movies, the lord of the rings movies, tommy boy, john candy movies, most anything with kevin spacey, dustin hoffman, johnny depp, Jack Nicholson, christopher walkin, john travolta, tom hanks (except polar express), and so on...Television
I live without cable and couldnt be happyer, most stuff on tv is crap now anyway... but when I do watch cable I like to watch tlc, the discovery channel, hgtv, pbs, the national geographic channel, the bbc... I totally loved farscape, the simpsons, extreme homes, southpark, behind the music, monster house, monster garage, american chopper, Aqua teen hunger force, junkyard wars... I dont mind no cable tho because I get pbs (something I watch a lot) my favorite shows on pbs are brittish comedies, nova, bbc news, colonial house, Red dwarf (canceled), globe trekker, folkways, antiques roadshow, and so on... I also listen to public radio a lot 88.1 wcqs classical music, jass, and more and 88.7, tho it doesnt come through so good at my house...Books
sad to say I usually go for audio books if anything... I do like graphic novels (like that helps) and I listen to a lot of good talk radio where they read short stories and have biographical stories often... I like to play audio books and things when Im painting or sculpting so I can use my whole brain while I work... most recently Ive "read" a science encyclopedia, an encyclopedia on castles, sin tsu's art of war, King Lear - Shakespeare, Sea Music, a book of home remedies, and all the harry potter books... I love short stories, educational reference books, anything surrealistic, and science fiction but seriously tho... Im not as much of a non conformist as it may seem reading this over--- no, wait, actually I amHeroes
screw eric clapton TOM WAITS is god! Neil from Real World london Antoni Gaudi (architect) Kurt Cobain (Duh) Jesus (right?) Ringo Star (the coolest beatle) Leonardo Devinci the marx brothers and Salvador Dali (common I know, but still fascinating)

About me:
So, This is the first time Ive updated this in quite a while.. but things have changed quite a bit and I feel the need to let the profile reflect this... I'm still the second oldest of a set of four brothers, my parents never had any daughters. My father died back in the summer of '06 and so my mother is now a widow, tho she has a boyfriend... Tho I'd rather not talk too much about all that... I live now, in a house in Woodfin, and a really great house at that, its an old log house, tho you cant really see the logs inside or anything, and I live with two of my very best friends... Elliott Gillooly, whom you may recall from School, and who is my very best friend, and his Girlfriend, Amanda, whom I met in the dorms at college... Both some of my very favorite people, they live in the front room and we all get allong very nicely thank you. They have a dog, Otis, who lays in the livingroom floor all day, with the occasional movement to lay in their bedroom, when he would rather lay there... My cat, Budder, is still a medium haired, orange blond tom, who is way too talkative and a bit wild and skittish when he isnt a total slut for attention... He hates, and always tries to kill otis, who I think could care less... but we all get along very well thus far in the new house... I work at the Toybox Of Asheville which is a small buisness toystore owned by gary green... He used to be my neighbor at the place I lived before... and I drive a Modded out 2005 Stella Scooter (like a classic p-series Vespa) capable of driving on the interstate and also requiring a liscence and insurance just as a motorcycle would, it is very capable of serving as my singular mode of transport... Not only can I get up to speeds to get a ticket at, but it can more than accomodate all the groceries I get at the store in ease and efficency... I filled it up last week for the first time in 10 days of regular driving with premium gas for less than 7 dollars. thats right bitch... I also have my old 50cc scoot, which anyone at anytime can drive, and which needs no liscencing at all... its a daelim E5 that I custom modded to be all black like a stealth fighter... it is huge and comfortable, and will regularly carry me at 40 MPH... Provided Im not climbing a hill... Aside from selling toys to children, and doing wheelies and jumps over flaming cars in my scooter, I also like to make music... I have played guitar for ages, and have written songs and whatnot as well as being able to play a wide range of covers... I have recently gotten interested in electronic music and synthesizers... I have an interest in developing in the techno music genre tho I have a wide ranging background in music alltogether... Aside from guitar I have played, at one time or another, the Cello, the Violin, the Piano, the Bass and the Harmonica... I also do art and creative things like paintings and sculpture... most recently I have been doing woodcarving, but Ive also worked in clay, steel, and paper mache... I also do macrame on varying scales, and even used to make marionettes... Ive had interests in puppetry, special effects makeup, Stunt work and illusions - optical or otherwise, I also am an avid reader and have many many many more books than I could ever get through, at least to date... and speaking of, I do remain single and unattached... My two brothers, older and younger, are married, and my youngest brother is even engaged... but I remain single... Not something I mind, to be honest... but marriage is something I would like to eventually enjoy... when I fall in love again... I am a spiritualist, and a mystic Gnostic, with a firm grounding in all things spiritual... I have hidden depths... (boy thats uncannily true) and It is a pleasure to meet you.| You Were a Crow |

Who I'd like to meet:
I like intelligent, self sufficient, empowered, graceful women who communicate well and are attracted to me. I generally go for petite brunettes. I am not, however, on here to only meet women for relationships.. I like meeting interesting new people male or female, but just for the record, that's kinda my type. - I would generally like to meet people who like me who are like me and who would like to talk to me.| Your Five Variable Love Profile |
![]() Your propensity for monogamy is high. You find it easy to be devoted and loyal to one person. And in return, you expect the same from who you love. Any sign of straying, and you'll end things. Experience Level: Your experience level is high. You've loved, lost, and loved again. You have had a wide range of love experiences. And when the real thing comes along, you know it! Dominance: Your dominance is low. This doesn't mean you're a doormat, just balanced. You know a relationship is not about getting your way. And you love to give your sweetie a lot of freedom. Cynicism: Your cynicism is low. You are an eternal optimist when it comes to love and romance. No matter how many times you've been hurt - you're never bitter. You believe in one true love, your perfect soulmate. And if you haven't found true love yet, you know you will soon. Independence: Your independence is medium. In relationships, you need both "me time" and "we time." You usually find it easy to be part of a couple. But occasionally you start to feel a little smothered. |
