He Leads Sax Appeal an Award winning 8 piece Jazz/funk/fusion Band, going 25 Years plus !!

He is a member of the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, which has lead to Concerts Round the World and playing with Eric Clapton, Lulu, Solomon Burke, Eddie Floyd, Kylie, Paul Mcartney, Tom Jones, Ruby Turner, Vic Reeves, Adrian Edmonson, and Robbie Coltrane!
He is also a member of Jazz Funk Band "Protect the Beat", 2 CD's out including "Intrepid" which topped the Jazzcd.co.uk charts for 16 weeks, ( see there own Myspace page)
He is also Manager of Clowns Pocket Recording Studio's in Bexley , Kent where he has recorded and produced CD's for Jamie Cullum ( Gold Disc for Pointless Nostalgic - in the toilet), Bobby Wellins, Bob Dorough,Georgie Fame, George Melly, Clark Tracey,Trudy Kerr, Geoff Gascoyne, Protect the Beat, Sax Appeal.

Hi Derek, how's it all going? I'm working on an album of new material, mainly folky rock stuff so that is keeping me busy. Motherhood is interesting, hard work and all that but I adore my little boy, I think he's going to be a percussionist!
Perhaps when we're both really old and only doing about 6 gigs a week we could actually find time to have a drink.. sorry, silly me, OK, come on, 'Body and Soul' in F#.
