My biggest interest is music. I have 4394 some what songs on my computer, mostly Swamp-Pop and Cajun French but I do have a variety of other kinds too. I love all kinds of music. Many people collect different things. I collect 45 vinyl records and albums. As of right now, I have well over 1000 45's and I can not even tell you how many albums I have. I also still have some 8 tracks and cassetts. My collection is anywhere from Cajun French, Swamp-pop, Classic Country, Disco to Hard Rock. You name it I probably have it. LOL
I thought I had lost them for Hurricane Rita, but I did not . Thank GOD. The label on the 45's are messed up a little and the jackets on the albums are no more good, but they still play. I just need to clean them up. One day. What a job. lol
Music
I love cajun french, swamp-pop, and zydeco music. Classic country and classic rock is on my list too. What a combination !!!
Movies
I like comedies. Scary movies every once in a while.
Television
I like Will and Grace, This Old House, HGTV, Food Network, How clean is your house, and many others. But what I really would like to see happen, is for TV Land to bring back Mork and Mindy.
Books
Historical Romance, mainly about Indians. I also like western books.
Heroes
My heroes are Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. My parents cause it took a lot of patience to raise me. I know now what they went through.
My other heroes are my son because he has had a hard life growing up and it seems to be following him now, but he still strives on and last but not least is my grandmother.
She is 98 yrs old and is doing good. She is a very strong willed person. She has buried all three of her children. It is very hard on her because she misses them but she also strives on. I do not know if I could make it if I were to be in my son or my grandmothers shoes.
My grandchildren are my heart. They are what keeps me going. They make life worth living for.
About me: My name is Donna Lynn. I am from Forked Island, Louisiana. I am very proud to be a Cajun. No place like Cajun Country or Cajun food. I like fishing, riding horses, cooking for family and friends, playing on the pc, and being with my grand kids. I also like planting a garden and flowers. I guess you can call me an all around country girl. I am taking care of my 98 yr. old grandma. She lives with me.

Who I'd like to meet: When the time comes and Jesus calls me home, hopefully it will be a long time from here, I pray that I will meet up with; first of all the baby that I miscarried, Momma, Daddy, Paw Paw Bee, Maw Maw Olive, Pop Pop Roy, and ALL my family and friends that have passed on. The uncertainty of what it is like on the other side is what scares me the most and leaving behind my loved ones. One day hopeful we will all be reunited in God's Great Kingdom. Hopefully it will be like one big family and friend reunion.
