LEFT ALONE - Hellcat Records’ Los Angeles based street punk crew Left Alone will be playing their first Cambridge gig as part of this amazing double-header. Hard work, great songs and energetic live shows have seen this band move up to a Hellcat Records staple. Combining 3 chord punk with ska and a dash of country, Left Alone have developed a sound all of their own, with contributors and guests including Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and Patricia Day (Horrorpops).

CITIZEN FISH - Since 1990 Citizen Fish (formed following the splits of Subhumans and Culture Shock at the end of the 80’s) have been delivering their unique style of ska infused punk rock to eager audiences while touring across the UK and the rest of the world. Dick’s frantic and emphatic vocal delivery combined with the catchy riffs and driving punk of their unforgettable live performances continue to earn them legions of new fans around the world, in all walks of life and all ages. 2007 saw Citizen Fish release a split CD with New York’s punk legends Leftover Crack (on the famous Fat Wreck label, run by NOFX) and a massive US tour to go with it. These guys truly are the masters of mixing punk with ska, and they top that off with sharply observed politically charged lyrics that don’t preach, but encourage you to question, and to think!!!

I.C.H. - Arguably the finest punk band to come out of East Anglia, ICH have been with us from the start and are once again where they should be…headlining! The last 5 years have seen this band become a local phenomenon and they’ve just secured a slot at the prestigious Rebellion punk festival in 2009. Their influences are too numerous to mention (but Crass and Rancid are definitely in there) and mere words can’t describe their live performances. ICH have been known to blow ageing punk bands off the stage and even incited stage diving at their unplugged gigs. With sharply observed lyrics and a barrage of guitars ICH’s punk anthems will have you punching the air and shouting along ‘til the cider runs out.

REBELATION - Rebelation are a 10 piece reggae, ska and rocksteady outfit based in East Anglia. Their sound is highlighted by a powerful horn section and soulful dual male and female vocalists. Influenced by the Skatalites and Studio 1 but with the presence of the modern Jamaican sound, Rebelation do not consider themselves as a revival or retro band but as a modernist and progressor of the reggae sound. Rebelation are signed to Do The Dog Music and have played alongside bands such as Laurel Aitken, The Slackers and the Aggrolites.
