..playing really good old-school video games, playing really good current-gen video games, reading about next-gen video games, watching really awesome movies from start to finish with the lights and phone ringer off and the surround sound turned on and up, sitting in a comfortable chair preferably by the beach, relaxing, chilling out, sleeping, and lounging.Music
Television
..I prefer to use the TV mostly for Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Intellivision, ColecoVision, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Master System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis with 32X and SegaCD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo GameCube, Playstation 2, Xbox, and Battlestar Galactica on SciFi, even though it doesn't use a controller.Books
..Many video games, in my opinion, are much like interactive books, especially if they have engaging and involving stories and evocative visuals. Some examples are: The entire Legend of Zelda franchise, every Metroid game ever, all of the 2-D Castlevania games, Final Fantasy I-VIII (haven't played IX-XII yet), all the Prince of Persia games, Beyond Good and Evil, Dragon Force, the Panzer Dragoon series, Lunar and nearly every Working Designs game (you will be missed!), Elder Scrolls III & IV, and Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Well, okay, that last one doesn't have much story, but it's otherwise flawless.Heroes
..My Parents for knowing lots about life, Shigeru Miyamoto for giving the world joy, Quai-Gon Jinn for his awesome interpretation of the Living Force, Max from Streets of Rage for being huge.

About me:
If those crazy scientists ever invent a pill that can create muscle from nothing, I'd take it without hesitation. In order to become huge and strong, I tried working out once... but it was very repetitive, and the weights were uncomfortably heavy. If lightsabers were real, I'd own one, even though I'd be way too terrified of it to ever turn it on. I'd still just wind up swinging a stick around in the backyard, making cool lightsabery sounds with my mouth, and pretending to slice fenceposts and telephone poles clean in half, just for effect. I can vividly remember the first time I ever played through the Legend of Zelda. It was as euphoric as floating in heaven, only it didn't smell at all. I'm still resentful of homework to this very day, for stealing away the happy fun times that are the basis of so many fond memories. The ocean is incredible. Have you ever seen it? It's friggin huge. I'm not kidding, it's that big. Standing on a beach is awesome, for so many reasons. It stinks that the only place there's any beach is on that thin line where the land meets the sea. It's always too far away, and too full of tourists when you finally get there. If ever I should win a billion dollars, I'd buy a small bahaman island and construct the most elaborate water park ever, with the tallest and twistiest waterslides on earth, just for myself and my close friends to use as transportation across the island. Have you ever looked up into the sky on a clear, dark night? Try it sometime, it's so great for putting everything in perspective. Planetariums are neat because they can do almost the same thing, but with the benefits of air conditioning and mood-setting music. Hey have you ever played laser tag? It's got its flaws, for sure, but you get to fire a laser rifle. I just thought you should know.Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone whose formative years were influenced by the NES Legend of Zelda just as much as by The Empire Strikes Back. Or, some variant of that basic theme. I've noticed that mostly, these people tend to be guys roughly my age. Most of the girls I've met truly seem not to care at all about the inner workings of a lightsaber, or the structural engineering of a Galaxy-class starship. It's baffling. So, ladies always get about a thousand bonus points from me right off the bat if they're cool like that. Sorry guys, no offense, but girls are just so much snugglier.Details
