I guess the main thing is that music is the centre of my existence. Writing my music keeps me sane. Playing it keeps me employed a lot of the time. Therefore my music collection pretty much tells the story of my life thus far...
Movies
Crouching tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, Heaven, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Harry Potter 3, the Shining (Kubrick), The Date, 4 weddings and a funeral, Austin Powers, Holy Grail, Mr and Mrs Iyer, Tape, Westside Story, Labyrinth...
...Once again, pointless to even try. Basically, I watch most movies many times, being an actor, I never cease to be amazed by the dexterity of some actors and the absolute plainess of others. Cate Blanchett rocks tho...

Books
Bel Canto, Harry Potter series, Tomorrow When The War Began, Neil Stephenson's Snow Crash, a shameful constant look-out for the next Dan Brown book.
About me: I'm a 21 year old actor, but don't worry I have a back-up plan: I'm also a singer/songwriter. If that doesn't work out I guess I'll just go back to being a poet.
That's right, I am comfortable with being an arts-wanker.
I have just completed my BA (Acting for Screen and Stage) at CSU in OZ, however I am studying honours by distance in 2007, travelling the world, looking at theatre and performing my one-man show. As part of that I will be running away to the circus for a little while.
I have also been diagnosed with terminal optimism, so sad fuckers get out of my life - or I may just make you accidentally and infectiously happy.
Myspace music folks, my music is online at myspace.com/tomdickins so add me there and I will happily be your friend, but this is my personal page for friends etc.
Peace.

remember those times when we used to get together in justin's apartment and drink a lot of beer and listen to rufus wainwright? when i think of the "good old days," that's what i think of.
I miss you! You should give me your phone number again so I can at least pretend to make an attempt at calling you! I'm starting to get a serious travel itch, I wish I had the funds and time to come see you!
I'm designing costumes for and outdoor production of "The Wind in the Willows" for an awesome local fringe theater... and Julia Griffin is the Stage Manager! Funny how Missoula folk seem to stick together in weird ways. I also am signing up for professional burlesque classes in a couple of days. Bwahahahaha! When I am internationally famous twirling tassels on my tits I will travel to Australia and beguile you all!!! Yup. I'm very happy and in my element. Whatever that means. ;D Just thought you'd be proud of me. Fuckin'-A.
So for my final in Randy's poetic language class I performed Myspace Poetry written by Tom dickins as compliled by martha neslen. I hope you don't mind. I've never gotten to say cunt that many times in a class performance and still get an A on it oh I love Randy and his wild turkey...so happy.
How are you, dear? All is still well here... I love my new city! Baby Kitty is yelling at me. So I guess that means she misses you, too. When do you move in with Danicus? I bet you two will burn your flat down in no time at all! Ha. There goes the neighborhood... and the city of Melbourne! Anyway, drop me a line! Miss you!
That's awesome about Drew! Unfortunately I don't get internet until Thursday at my apartment, so I am in a little cafe.. with a computer that has no sound... I'll listen to the song when i can! I am a Seattle-ite now and it rocks! I've already eaten my weight in fresh seafood and adore working in the costume shoppe! Yesterday i organized all of the animal costumes from "ape" to "zebra"... literally... and my boss gave me 2 vintage 40's dresses as a thank-you! I win! Our apartment is in the heart of Capital Hill which is the equivalent of Greenwich Village in New York or the Haight-Ashberry district in San Fran. It's where all the fringe-theatres are and is the center of gay-rights and funky pubs! We have a great view of the Space Needle and the water too! I can't wait for you to visit (and you must!). Take care, love, and have fun with your new degree!
Hello Tom-Tom Tommy Tom-Tom! Just thought I'd drop by to give you a cyber-hug *squeeze* and tell you what's new... Blake and I had a crazy whirl-wind four days in Seattle last week. We went out with the intent of looking at apartments and trying to figure out what part of town we wanted to live in. That was all. Scope things out. In the end I had an interview with one of the largest costume shoppes in Seattle and got hired in the manager position, Blake had a promising interview at an Arts School for a position helping new students (and it pays buco bucks!), and we were approved for an apartment in the middle of Capitol Hill!!! Whoa! Capitol Hill is the most unique funky part of downtown... like Greenwich Village of New York. Really rich people live there and really poor art people live there... Like me. It is the main area for fringe theaters, has wicked sushi shops, and boasts some of the best drag-shows in town! The best part is we are paying about the same to live there as we were in our nice Missoula apartment... and it's a really nice place. Craziness! We move on April 11th (or earlier) and I start my job on the 15th. It's all coming true! Go check out the website for the costume shoppe... www. amasquerade. com
Hope all is beautiful in your world! I'll keep you posted with more adventures... but you have to promise to do the same!
hey, how goes everything? seems like you're keeping pretty busy with your music. that's great!! i know it's been awhile but how have you been? things here have been crazy as usual but i'm doing well. take care!
My number is 001-406-230-1028...I think that's the country code and everything. I miss you! And I really am impressed with your music. Your voice is beautiful and it all sounds so professional! xx
