"I Steal the Leaves"
By Priscilla Hernandez
The Faeries of Gossamer Glen love music and have very diverse tastes. They very often listen to soft and ethereal melodies, but there are times when they prefer to kick up their heels and jam, so please don't be too shocked if this page rocks from time to time! There is always the pause button! Some fav sounds include Tori Amos, Josh Groban, Enya, Celtic Harp, sounds of nature, Blackmore's Night, Jim Boggia, Shauna Burns, Priscilla Hernandez, Freyia, Arlene Faith, IVA, The Gypsy Nomads, QNTAL, The Mary Dream, Gabrielle Angelique. A faerie favorite...
Live the Proof
Music and Lyric: Jim Boggia / Julian Coryell
Let's begin with a fact.
Science tells us there's a pact
made between each action
and something that reacts.
Things that seem out of range
all obey a law of change.
Put thoughts into motion.
Watch things rearrange.
Live the proof.
We can create our circumstance.
Live the proof.
Nothing is ever left to chance.
It's no dream.
We can begin the world anew
Here and now.
Live the proof.
Every thought left unsaid.
Every dream kept in your head.
Every other option you'd rather see instead.
Lift them up set them free.
Go into the world you see
like it's already the way that it should be.
You view the problem like you're stuck inside it.
What if you had power to rectify it?
Would you make the choices to apply it?
Would you try it?
It's no dream
We can begin the world anew
Here and now
Live the Proof

Imagine 2006, Undiscovered Talent of Fantasy Available NOW!
Seventy five artists submitted, but only 50 were chosen. Each artist was allowed to submit up to four pieces of work for consideration. Two hundred and thirty nine works of art were submitted. Only 60 were chosen for publication. Ten of the fifty artists selected received a two page feature. The Faeries of Gossamer Glen are honored to have been selected for a two page feature. We are also extremely honored to be included with so many other very talented artists, including my dear friend and fellow artist, Kevin Buntin, AKA Boggleboy. The Faeries of Gossamer Glen were also very surprised and very honored to discover that they were selected and adapted as cover concepts for Imagine 2006.

This portrait was beautifully framed with an original design from Andrew McManus of Broken Glass Design. Thank you my friend!
The Faeries of Gossamer Glen take great pleasure in displaying this gorgeous work of art created by our dear friend and gifted artist Andrew McManus of Broken Glass Design. This very special design, featuring the Faeries of Gossamer Glen, will be used in a greetings card created for the most worthy of causes. The proceeds from the sale of this card will benefit children suffering from leukemia. We are very honored to support this cause, and to have served as the inspiration that aided in its creation. Message from the Faeries regarding comments...
Thank you so much for all of the gorgeous and thoughtful comments that you leave for us. However, Gossamer Glen is located in a remote part of the forest so we are forced to make do with a dial-up connection. As much as we love the pretty animated gifs and glitter graphics that you leave, some of them cause our page to freeze up, therefore we have no choice but to delete them. Please don't take it personally. Lovely images that do nothing but sit and look pretty are always welcome though! Also, if we have not been by to leave a comment on your page, it may not be for the lack of trying. Most likely, it is for the same reason as above. Pages with lots of content, graphics, spinning, moving, falling and glittering items will not load for us. We wish they would, but sadly, they won't. So we apologize if we are unable to visit your page. We will still send you love, light and magical wishes, even if we can't send you comments!
Please note...beginning Feb. 15, 2008, if you have Captcha enabled on your comments we will no longer be able to leave you comments due to our excruciatingly slow dial up connection. The faeries are very sorry but it takes much too long.
