Who I'd like to meet: Jack London said it best!
"I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out
in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time."
"We don't see things as THEY are, we see things as WE are"
-Anais Nin
Someday I'll have my own credo but these two explain it best in the mean time.
I've met my match. My amazing boyfriend Richie is my heart and my soul. He's the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I think of when I fall asleep at night. If I could lay in bed and laugh with him all day, I'd be in heaven.
Great new track and video release this week "Hometown featuring Adele", just in time to celebrate his birthday on friday, sept 11th. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkMRN6FxYW0

How's it going? I'm excited to let you know that I'm starting my monthy gig at 318 Café in Excelsior on Wednesday April 8th. This will be the first in a series of shows where I play with other singer/songwriters, and Caleb Hawley will join me for next week's performance. I'd love it if you'd consider coming out! 318's food is truly delicious, and it's only 20 miles from downtown Minneapolis :) Hope to see you there!
