About me: Life is short. I recognize that now and intend to enjoy every single day...no matter what.
I have regrets...anyone who says that they don't are either lying or have lived a perfect life. Everyone would change something they did or did not do at some point in time. The point is, not to dwell on the regret itself, but to learn from it in order to better yourself, as well as prevent those around you from making the same mistake.
I've learned that there are few people that you should invest in emotionally. Not to say that you shouldn't have good relationships with the people you love, but its utterly pointless to pour all that you are into someone if they're selfish. Its very easy to figure out who's in it for you & who's in it for you as long as its beneficial to them.
Attaining happiness in life without a substantial relationship with God is impossible. That doesn't mean someone would never experience happiness, but its always temporary and sporadic.
In essence, in spite of all the troubles, life is great...and so am I.
