Idealism interests me a whole lot, but there isn't much to be found there. This painting represents an ideal, a somewhat simpler time with clear cut values created by the Greatest Generation. This painting's ideal of love and romance is interesting, and something I long aspired to, but have since found not to be the case. Finding the feeling this painting inspires in the real world would be great. Simple, slow, passions enriched through common experiences...people interest me as they give my head a reason not to work so fast.
