As far as music goes, I write it, I record it, I play it, and I sing it. The playing and singing part of it I do simultaneously at venues. I have all sorts of short and long term goals, like finishing my coffee at this moment and pouring myself another cup. Life is good and dark and telling. yah don't want to miss what it's saying. My tunes have something to do with that idea.
Under The Absolute Zero, I've recorded two albums in 2006:
Pelican Daughters of Modo,
Incident at the Hatfields,
and a third and fourth one in 2007:
And the Sea Did Rage -
The Long Road to the World -
i'm working on aneeeother. I like to travel and play. I hate my day job.
yoyopopwassup? checkin your tunes...your voice sounds great as always and the recordings sound great, too. i'll be up there next month - let's do coffee or, dare i say, a playdate... love and popsicles
babs is something else isnt it? Yah Im totally coming to denver, waiting to see if im going to be stopping in cheyenne on the way to hit some thrift stores. hide the hot sauce

"...and as errant rips- the swells from their slumber, to beaten cornices that find this water only familiar..as dust bowls hold their cyclones..it is tempting for seeds to sleep an uncomfortable sleep... where they never grow roots, and they never find peace..they become fodder for the graven image of what were once trees...and the stink of what was left, is ours...left in the gullet and feces of the songbird....and, they sing..."
On Sunday 13th April 2008, I and a few others will be doing the Great North Derby Day Pub Crawl from Sunderland to South Shields. We MUST visit 28 pubs on the way and have an alcoholic drink in each one. However this isn't just a normal day out. We are doing it to raise money for St Clare's Hospice in South Tyneside. So please dig deep and sponsor me online or in person.
If you can sponsor me before the event that would be great. If not don't worry - you can still donate through this page for up to 6 months after the event.
PS - All your money goes to the charity, we're paying for our own drinks!
