About me:

We are an OB/GYN residency program located in beautiful Mobile, AL at the University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital. We live an hour from the beach, minutes from the bay, and in the heart of college football. This is by far the most laid back residency program. Attendings are very approachable and are easy-going. We never go over our 80 hours since we have a night float system. We get 4 weeks of vacation and most holidays. We even split the Christmas/New Years holiday in half. So, really, you get about 5 weeks vacation. There is no perfect program out there, but if you are looking for a university-based program with a community-based feel, in a great city (cheap living), with some fun folks, we are your choice.
