BLACK METAL BOX was formed in 2007 by Guitarist Kevin Mantooth, and is based in Gilbert Arizona. Front man Chris Lawson, Guitarist Steve Ulibarri, Reiter S on Keys, Bassist Jason Thompson and Drummer Scott MachineGunSmith complete the band.

BLACK METAL BOX influences include: Pantera, Static X, Disturbed, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch and many more.

Our music has a "Dark New Crushing Sound” that promotes high energy and deep lyrics to keep you on your feet throughout the songs. Our live performances brings immense high energy, passion and awesome crowd interaction.

The name Black Metal Box has nothing to do with "Black Metal Music". Guitarist Kevin Mantooth named the band after a "High Voltage Transformer Box".
