Music
I listen to many genres. My first love is R-n-R, especially the heavy stuff. I grew up on Judas Priest, Ozzy and Van Halen. I currently listen to mostly prog rock (i.e. Dream Theater, Queensryche, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) as will as solo guitarist like Vai, Satriani, Petrucci and others. I also love Jazz, Classical (especially classical guitar), and so-called "Celtic" music.
Movies
I tend to like period movies like Braveheart and Gladiator. I am big fan of the "heroic epic." I also like Sci-Fi (I grew up a Star Wars fan).
Television
Mostly the history channel. However, I'm a sucker for reruns of Gilligan's Island and M*A*S*H. I also like reruns of Frasier and News Radio. There is nothing I watch on a regular basis. Too busy for T.V.
Books
I'm a Christian and a Bible scholar so the Bible is my number one book. After that, anything by J.R.R. Tolkien (I have a seperate bookcase for his works as well as those about him. Sigh, I'm a geek) as well as C.S. Lewis. I have little time for pleasure reading, though. Most of my reading is professional as I am a professor who's working on his Ph.D.
