Straight from the streets of Holt. G.R.I.M.M., the eldest of the group was determined to get himself heard in the underground scene. Being new to the rap game in Tuscaloosa, it was kind of hard for him to just hop on tracks with other MCs Because he was never really heard of as an artist outside of his hood. 2003 he started hitting the club on open mics at the old Jade's Lounge in T-town. 2004 he began producing his own beats. 2005 he released his first solo project, "Hustlas On Low Terms" keeping his hood in mind during the whole project which turned out to be a big hit for the home team. Still determined for outside success, he decide's to pull away form his hood a little bit and focus on what was going on with his own life which was somewhat of a low point during the time of his second solo project. He felt like it was a dark moment for him so he titled his next solo project "Tha Rippa," which also turned out to be a big hit for the hood as well as for the outside world which at one point he thought he could hardly get through to.
Still trying to break the mold but decides to take a break and focus on personal issues, G.R.I.M.M. comes in contact with a younger artist, B.B. , who offered G.R.I.M.M. a mixtape that he had finished. Not knowing of GRIMM as an artist, B.B. was shocked when he realized that GRIMM had his own studio and was invited to do a track with him. Satisfied with the outcome, B.B. offered to just link up with GRIMM to become a duo. GRIMM figured it would be a good idea to have a younger artist bring him closer to younger crowds and gain a little clout with the young peeps. In 2006 the two called themselves "The Night Watchers" and released their first album, "The Supplement" and later on that year they serfaced another album along with another young artist Kee Davis titled "The 2nd Round." Now clicking on all fours, B.B. discovers his God-Brothers skills on the mic and which brought forth another young upcoming artist Young Chevy, who will release his solo project in 2008 along with GRIMM's solo project "Grown & Gangsta" due in 08 as well
