About me: Wet-Ink studios came together as a group when me&Bruce Morgan in the winter of 2000 and we met up with a friend and fellow artist of mine James King who knew this artist Rob Rhine( I found this guy-RISING STAR-y'all watch).At that time through James, we also met Greg Hanna and his brother Steve Hanna(Good guys).We also had some other cats trying in the beginning-(Josue,JJ & Bobby..sweet home ALABAMA!)The 1st book ever produced by me/Wet-Ink was the Maniacal Smile #1 Vol.2(40 copies only)-it sold out.With Smiley being our flag ship title and character and....a hit! Then came Wet-Ink's Anthology(several short stories in one comic) which consisted of James King's FOLLOW the WHITE RABBIT fantasy/adventure, Bruce Morgan's ever fantastic UNKNOWN GROUND along with also the HANNA brother's(Greg&Steve)WU-WARRIOR a martial arts/action about a crime-fighting monk and his PI buddy Jack Lance,it later went on to it's own self titled comic.Wet-Ink went on to produce three more issues of smiley(2,3,and 4)along w/ the 2nd part of James white rabbit story and due to technical difficulties-Wet-Ink and Rob&James parted ways.Rob then took James and restarted his High School label-PANDA-MONIUM PRESS.He produced Maniacal Smile #5.And while they where doing that...the HANNA BROS. were trying to produce WU-WARRIOR with me. Meanwhile..at the BRUCE CAVE-Bruce continued to draw his follow-up to UNKNOWN GROUND- the DARK GAME.Well....through time(it fixes everything-trust me, i know)-Rob(along with JAMES) returned with M.SMILE #7.and rob did a second run with Wet-Ink(M.SMILE #7-#12).Hanna bros. WU-WARRIOR run lasted with #0,#1,and#2,James did one more anthology and some one-shots and TECK 23.In our last year with the original crew(Ralph Bednarski-Bruce Morgan-Robert Rhine-James King- Greg Hanna-Steve Hanna), we brought on two new comers Ryan Mosher(SKUNK APE)and the comical writing genius of MIKE FOSS and they were great.But like history always repeats itself-TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES FOLLOWED again!the good thing is Rob finally got to Relaunch his series in full color like he always wanted to under his own label and with the help of THE FOSS..he will be a hit!(Thank you rob for your story run with me)-Hanna Bros. went their way(still good guys) and Ryan moved(sorry i lost contact man).I still draw and edit and Bruce is still mastering his style(y'all gotta see his three page spread-it's f**king awsome!).Look for my book in 2009 and Bruce Morgan's book also in 2009. Thank you for the pic compliment - I've thought about comic book art, but my heart's set on tattooing! Kinda addictive! Can't seem to get through an apprenticeship, though (2 kids and I WON'T do whatever I'm told, lol) - so I'm in school for art and business. The plan is to open my own tat shop, hire a tattoo "artist" and MAKE them teach me, lol - but I'm flighty and may change my mind down the road... don't really think so now, though... ;) Oh, and I love the music on ur page but its really hard to read - hehee!
