Started sketching my confusing project! My untalent at drawing reminds me of the thin line between horror and beauty. I guess the only good thing about Nike shoes is their piece of advice: Just Do It.
Hope you got to meet some London poets?
I went to the poetry cafe again, only to start knitting a scarf. Wierd, but warming.

i think we should ditch Tom and go on the road, Corey, when was the last time Tom did anything for you? come to think of it...when was the last time you thought, "this is the last time xxxx..."
how are you? i don't know a single thing about you; these things tend to be known in clumps.
    write me a meaningful phrase.
    lucky smiles,

Blurbs

About me:

I am a writer and spoken word performer and teacher, originally from P.E.I., with strong ties to Montreal, living for the past five years in New York City. My books include My Own Devices (2002), a book of international un-travel writing, and its sequel, My Own Devices: Airport Version (2006). In 2003 MOD was short-listed for the QWF McAuslan First Book Prize and the ReLit Award for Short Fiction. The Worthwhile Flux (2004), a collection of my performance texts, was also short-listed for the ReLit Awards. You can sometimes see my stories in magazines such as Matrix, Geist, and The Walrus. I've travelled quite a bit and performed at venues across North America (twice with The Perpetual Motion Roadshow) as well as in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. I've also recorded performances for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the CBC (Brave New Waves). These days I'm finishing my doctorate in English at the City University of New York, and working on a novel, like everyone else in New York.
