  • Bio

....This profile was edited with ..Edit Your MySpace.. .. .... In the year 2000 Soul Seizure was founded by its' original members: then vocalist T.W. Shipman, former bassist Jeff Uitto, guitarist Eric Furford, and drummer Shaun Radke. In the three years that followed, Soul Seizure was relatively active playing small local shows and parties. Then in the summer of 2003 bassist Jeff Uitto left the band to follow other intrests. You may now see him performing as a member of Healer or as co-founder of Ceder Mill Shake Rats. Jeff's departure apperared to be a fatal blow to Soul Seizure as it once was. The band parted ways. In hope of startin a new project Eric and Shaun recruited bassist and long time aquaintance Casey Bainter. Together they began writing new material with the intention to start something completely new and different, the only thing missing was the pressence of a dedicated vocalist/frontman. So, they called upon T.W. to return to the group. The band decided to keep the name Soul Seizure and performed two small shows in the fall of 2004 before having to part ways with vocalist T.W. Shipman. During this time Jack Hatton, former guitarist and vocalist of the death metal group Corpsodomy, was focusing his efforts on Ariose Xyster, a progressive death metal project with former band member Brandon Lillie also of Corpsodomy and Namtar. Jack had long been a friend of the members of Soul Seizure. Originaly intending to join the band as a second guitarist. Jack, after a few jam sessions, came to the realization that there was nothing he could add as a guitar player to improve upon the overall sound of Soul Seizure. As a vocalist, however, Jack felt that he could contribute greatly to the band.
