ROCK SOUND MAGAZINE
"The Furies hit chords of discontent in the belly of their audience, and the result is incredibly emotive..."
HYBRIDLAB, 2007
RETURN OF THE FURIES relentlessly throwing in good old punk rock with pop-inflicted catchy riffs and melody.
Return of the Furies take their name from ancient mythological goddesses of the Underworld, whose single purpose it was to seek revenge for the wronged. They lend their names to the EPs 'Megaera' and 'Alecto'.
The band are a developed and dynamic super-charged unit of drive and guts; with a passion for blistering, riff-orientated, addictive rock. Live, these four friends and classically trained musicians deliver incredibly tight, edgy performances with an intensity befitting their name.
So far, they've received great reviews in magazines like 'Rock Sound' and reached the top 10 in the Time FM charts with the song 'Bloody Mary'.
Members Mercedes, Kat and Sarah welcome new recruit, Mike (frontman of Hunger for the Crash), on lead guitar duties!
With 93 Feet East, Islington Bar Academy and Astoria 2 safely under their studded gig belts, they're sure to start fires at future events this year.
