About Kader Belaouni

Kader & 23, 2 migrants to Canada (1 american, 1 algerian) connected proverbial dots early 2008 to collaborate on a musical concept that crosses borders, weaving Hip hop, Spoken Word, Pop, Downtempo & Raï into a modern gypsy-esque tapestry of fresh sounds & ideas; the duo recorded in sanctuary at St. Gabriel's Church, Pointe St. Charles (Montréal) as Kader still remained in Asylum facing a deportation order since 2006. As of October 23rd, Kader has received his status to the triumph of the whole community at large who supported him.
