.. .. WOW!! Thanks to everyone who has contacted us since this site went up. It's great to hear from some long-time fans! .. Influenced by artists including Rush, King Crimson, Tool, and Peter Gabriel (to name only a few), 23rd Hour managed to create their own distinctive sound, blending diverse styles, lively textures, and thoughtful lyrics into musical forays that display the band's creativity and innovation. .. Their debut CD, ....Immortal Coil...., was released on December 23rd, 1995 through their own independent label, ..Cydonia Records... Word about the CD quickly spread through the music industry and over the Internet; by February 1996, the band had landed its first CD distribution deal with MegaRock Distribution in Stockholm, Sweden and had been added to numerous music-related web sites around the world, including GARF's homepage and The Progressive Rock Web Site. .. Spring 1996 saw more added links to the band's web site and more international distribution thanks to Musea Catalogue Distributors in Retonfey, France and The Musical Toy Box in Tokyo, Japan. .. Radioplay and music reviews around the world further catalyzed the band's momentum. 23rd Hour and their music were featured on the radio and in magazines from the U.S., South America, all over Europe, and Japan. The world-wide response to 23rd Hour and ....Immortal Coil.... was overwhelmingly positive. Critics, DJ's, and audiences alike all were quick to characterize 23rd Hour's sound as new, refreshing, and exciting; and ..Cydonia Records.. worked around the clock to fill orders from new fans around the globe. .. 2005 marks the tenth anniversary of ....Immortal Coil...., and to celebrate, 23rd Hour are making available for download three never-before released songs, ..Separations.., ..Don't Ask.., and ..This Small Boat.., from their bootleg archive of live performances across the US-- check them out! .. .. .............. ..
