About me: Im a 21 year old New Zealand/American. Im from Mountain View, California: Menlo School-->UC Davis(1 year) --->Auckland, New Zealand. New Zealand is cool, but most of my friends are at home in the Bay Area. I fucking love music, I've played guitar for 10 years and I play in a band called Hogwild.
I go to AUT (Auckland University of Technology) and I'm doing a communications degree. I'm majoring in radio...
I generally consider most Republican politicians to be either annoying idiots or evil fucks. The Bush Administration are thugs.
I also think that San Francisco's homeless population, New Orleans Katrina refugees, and an assortment of Iraqi teenagers should be armed to the teeth and turned loose in the White House with a "scavenger hunt" list of top Bush Administration officials. That would be sooooooo sweet.
Who I'd like to meet: Cedric Bixler Zavala (lead singer of At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta),
Omar Rodriguez Lopez (guitarist from At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta),
Bradley Nowell,
Kurt Cobain,
Dave Grohl,
Tom Morello,
Matthew Bellamy,
Claudio Sanchez,
Bill Hicks,
Zach de la Rocha,
Josh Homme (Queens of the Stoneage/Desert Sessions/Kyuss),
Chris Cornell,
Jim Morrison,
Fat Mike,
Maynard James Keenan,
Hunter S. Thompson,
Noam Chomsky,
Dick Cheney (but only with a .50 caliber desert eagle in hand and no witnesses)
what up mang. I already tried out a job at the viaduct today in a fancy ass restaurant and got another interview for tomorrow. Hit me up at the Hutchings soon
Hey playa, GNR was cool. I'll tell you about it when you get back. We've been pretty quiet on the band front, you know how it is... whenever anyone's gone John sorta loses interest. But that's OK. We did manage to have one jam with the three of us and Kenny, but we didn't actually do much. We switched instruments round and mucked about and then the other three got stoned. Rock n roll! Yeah, when are you back? We can do some gigs and shit with the Rock Club, but it'd be good to have a jam or two first.
Bro your missing all the fun! They've closed the Harbour Bridge and declared a state of emergency for Northland. Winter is fun.. Enjoy your boring summer weather. Zzzzzz
Hahaha, that doesn't sound very positive! At least you've been away and had two summers this year, kinda, well you had a little bit of each. But still. If you arrive at 6:30 would you actually make it to uni? That'd be a mission. It'll only be handbook stuff on the first day anyway. Congrats on the results, yea I'm happy I got through thye R&S exam.
