After a delicious dinner at the Belly Up in Solana Beach, my wife and I eagerly anticipated attending the Gary Hoey concert. Opening that evening's rockn' roll event was TOP DOG, a spectacular high energy band that got us dancing to tunes like "Still Got The Blues" and "Whiskey Mama". We were cought up in an exuberant crowd applauding the band's melodious southern rock sound and powerful rockn' roll beat. TOP DOG was a super opening act warming the audience for Gary Hoey whose performance that evening was also unforgetable! Smokin' Brian Lee - Lead Guitar, Vocals Lead Guitarist for several bands on the East and West Coast since the 80's - never forgetting his roots as a blues rocker - his influences include Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters. Tearing up the slide guitar jamming with the likes of Molly Hatchet, he's opened up for Pat Travers Band, Quiet Riot, Foghat, and Def Leppard just to name a few.
John "Klem-Dog" Klemmer - Drums, Percussion, Vocals Heavy, powerful double bass aggressive drummers are hard to find until now..... having played with Ozzy Osbourne's guitar player Jake E.
