My track Sourface Orchestral is a very simple, deep and thought provoking piece of music that I wrote years ago, and I have always thought it would be great to have Bonobo remix it, and now I have the chance! With the Brighton connection and the monkey names link, it would put a huge smile on my face if this happened!

EN VENTURA

Este es un video en vivo de "Begonias" una de las canciones que estarán en el siguiente LP, el cual estará listo a mediados del 2010.


En Ventura es una banda de Pop. No es difícil de categorizar, solo que necesitas una categoría diferente para cada canción. Folk, Noise, Rock, Jam y Shoegaze, son solo algunos estilos contenidos en el puro y simple POP de sus composiciones.

Básicamente En Ventura es un banda fresca, enérgica, y original donde el elemento principal son las letras. Todos los miembros cantan y armonizan. Una banda de pop pero sin el típico sonido relacionado con el género.

Los Gandharvas, En Ventura se dedicó a encontrar ese sonido tan especial que hace que actualmente se caracterice como un tipo de música única en todo México.

Come out and see us this Friday! Yep, this will be our first show in about four years, although for most of you it's probably been about seven years, since our hey day of 2001 when we did Europe and the Atlanta Jazz Festival with Saskia Laroo. Well I'm glad to say that domestication didn't quite work, and the Layden Brothers are back!
If you haven't been to the 5 O'Clock Cafe you don't know what you're missing. It's a tapas bar on a dock at the Fort McAllister Marina in Richmond Hill, and you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere, better seafood, or better..ahum!...music! What's more, it's always lady's night at the cafe, and the lady's always seem to outnumber the men! Certain Richmond Hill celebrities are always bound to drop by, and we hope to get one or two of them up on the stage.
