QD aka Hershey (Tha R&B Seduca Bio) QD aka HERSHEY was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI (Kellogg/Post Cereal City) and has been singing since the early age of 3. He has been writing poetry and song lyrics since he was 10 years old. QD, whose name is Quincy Deon Jones; comes from a strong family background of musicians, songwriters and singers. This musical background attributes to his unique sound and inspiration for his lyrics. QD aka Hershey is also full time Professional Firefighter, Real Estate Agent and Model. His headliner is "Tha R&B Seduca” and has proven to be appropriate when listening to "All U Gotta Say", the debut smash hit single from the released demo CD which is entitled “Tha R&B Seduca Appetizer.” The demo was initially released December 22, 2007 at the FYE stores located in the Midwest Michigan area and featured 4 tracks. The Appetizer was a prelude to the full course CD entitled “What About Me”, which was recently released December 20,2008 and all songs and vocals on the LP were written and performed by the artist. The “What About Me” LP has 15 tracks and has mixture of up-tempo flavor with tracks like “I’m A Balla”, “U Crazy” and “So Many Women”. In addition QD’s slow ballads have a suggestively smooth seductive feel which can be heard from tracks like “Take My Time“, “I Can Make U Moan”, “All U Gotta Say (2 Versions) and “Cut Loose”. A motivating positive message is delivered in track 3 “Before I Die”. QD has drawn a fan base by means of retail sales at FYE (For Your Entertainment) . He also has been making appearances for in-store signings for promotions and meeting fans. Various newspaper articles can and additional information can be found at www.mlive.com and other various sites by Google search. Tracks are available for purchase through Apple Itunes, Rhapsody, Verizon (Ringtones) and other sites as well. The LP has received international sales in locations such as Tokyo, Japan from purchasing sites like CD Baby and STS (Stretch the Skies) a distributing partner of FYE. He is currently seeking a record contract with a major label. The call out to A&R representatives can be heard on the first track of the LP where QD addresses the pessimistic haters and invites the label industry representatives to take notice by lyrically saying “Holla At Me”. In the meantime; the artist continues to work as a unsigned indie vocalist under his self established business name. Stay tuned because this new artist has a lil sumthin’ sumthin’ that everyone can relate to.
