"...definitely impressive song-writing bearing in mind Aaron is only 20.....The mini-album album is definitely a strong statement of intent and Aaron Shanley could well be one to watch in the future."
www.music-news.com
"with meaningful words and a voice to match is of the highest quality for any album, let alone a debut."

"This is a supremely self assured debut from a name that is already at the top of the 'one to watch' lists of those in the know." (4.5/5)

"If tonight’s performance of Let The Sun In is anything to go by, then this first album certainly won’t be the last we hear of Aaron Shanley." www.morethanthemusic.co.uk
"Aaron Shanley’s got the looks, voice and lyrics to melt a million hearts."

“A brief encounter with the lisburn's lads cheekbones, fringe and massive swoon-filled choruses and you'll be thinking posters on bedroom walls and the high end of the download charts”..
Hot Press
“Aaron Shanley is absolutely one of the most talented and resourceful of the songwriters all over the various Internet music sites. With songs this extraordinary, it is certainly safe to say that Shanley has a big and glorious future ahead of him. Be sure to go to his Myspace, download the tracks, and catch up with a rising star! Highly recommended”
Highwire Daze
"There's clearly an affinity with Conor Oberst from Bright Eyes and surely some kind of connection with the young Dylan as he makes those words and sentiments tumble with much authority"
Stuart Bailie, Oh Yeah Music Centre
"A young man with a big talent"
Gerry Anderson, BBC Radio Ulster

Bio
Following an extensive tour of the USA in September, a sold out show in Belfast, a well received UK tour in October, a private performance at the US Consulate and a recent support with The Duke & The King, some would say Aaron Shanley has had a busy few months promoting his debut mini album ‘Let The Sun In’......BUT IT DOESN’T END THERE! Aaron continues on the promotional trail with the release of his next single ‘I Think I Love You’ taken from The Nashville Sessions EP (the exclusive bonus CD accompanying ‘Let The Sun In’ release). With a number of shows around Ireland during November, including a support slot with Joe Brooks, Aaron takes time out from his busy schedule to perform at the Access To Music Awards Ceremony 2010 held at the O2 Academy, Birmingham on the 1st December, where Aaron has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Male’ Award. The Ceremony is being presented by RADIO 1 DJ Edith Bowmen. After that it’s back into the studio over the Xmas & New Year period to record his next release. 2011 see’s Aaron returning to the UK in Feb and Stateside during March & April. His next Belfast show will be at The Belfast/Nashville Songwriters Festival where Aaron has been invited to support Foy Vance and his own headline show. More on that next time! ...... .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. -
