PSALMS 150........ ....Background...... ..24/7.. came about in 2005 when the new Senior Minister of Fairview Christian Church, Dr. Don Wilson, wanted to add a new musical dimension to the worship services. Don started the band, then un-named, with himself on guitar, and a rotating roster of guest vocalists and instrumentalists. The plan was to start the band, and then have it "staffed" with church members who felt the call to a music ministry. Once the band was established, Don would be able to go back to preaching "100%", and let the band find it's own course...The band is currently made up of church members who feel The Lord has called them to use their gifts for Him... ....Mission...... We feel that a mixture the best contemporary songs of praise and worship, Chrisitian rock and classic hymns with an updated feel would be the most effective vehicle to deliver the Good News about Jesus Christ. Recently, the band has begun to produce and perform original material, and is putting the finishing touches on our first CD... ....Where We Can Be Found...... We are capable and eager to take our ministry on the road, to other churches, colleges, coffee houses, festivals, gospel sings, fairs, you name it. We are fully equipped to perform for indoor and outdoor venues. .. Since praise and worship events also actively involve the "audience" in the worship experience, we have a PC-based Power-Point system with all song lyrics that can be projected through either your projection equipment or ours.
