Sounds Like
Errrrr, hopefully we sound a little like Deep Purple?? We did do some studio recordng recently, but a bizarre incident occurred where the Fostex hard drive got wiped when there was a powercut for about 2 seconds and before we had a chance to back up the disk! DOH!!
We therefore roughly recorded a recent rehearsal, via a couple of mics in the rehearsal room, so we at least have something to play whilst doing some more studio stuff!

The band consists of a bunch of seasoned professionals who, having (almost) finally given up on the idea of being invited to join the great band themselves, decided to get together and form as authentic a tribute as possible with one line-up!
After all, it's takes some doing, trying to encapsulate the music of a band who have been going for over 40 years, had multiple line-up changes and someone with true schizophrenic tendencies to try and emulate the vocals of Rod Evans, Ian Gillan, David Coverdale AND Glenn Hughes (oh......and he who should not be mentioned in the hallowed terms of Deep Purple, but we don't "do" that album anyway)!
So, with the original compilation album title of 24 Carat Purple in mind, and the fact that they are quite possibly the best Deep Purple tribute band you're ever likely to see, what other name could they use?
Deep Purple have been going forever.........
