Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's hunt, as well as my sponsors who allowed everyone of the 23 teams to walk away with something for the efforts. And of course my loyal helpers, Heidi, Kimberlyn, Casey, Kelsey, Jeff, Nerf, and Kristina(who did the rad artwork) for taking a good amount of the load off during this thing.
Who I'd like to meet:
You and someone who won't leave you in the middle of the night, your bikes, a digital camera(two would be good-being able to operate independently of each other will be essential), a bag to hold anything you might need to bring back as well as patch kit and tools(unless you know of a bike shop open at 4am), and the willingness to possibly do something stupid like shave one eyebrow if you think it will help push you over the rest of the competition(or if you've always wanted to do that, but were always too chicken to explain why without a good enough excuse).

The cost is $35 per team of two which includes shirts for each member. You must be 18 or older to participate in this hunt.
---TO PRE-REGISTER: drop me a line/or friend request and tell me your team name, and the t-shirt sizes of both members of your team. Don't have myspace account? Well don't conform now, email me at SleepyTimeExpress@yahoo.com with your info. I will accept payment on the day of the hunt in unmarked bills, just like last year.--
There will be a beer garden at the finish from at least one of this year's sponsors. I want to be sure you sleep well.

The beginning point is Oregon Park on 2950 NE Oregon at 4pm sharp on Saturday, August 9th, and will end exactly 24 hours later in my backyard, just down the street. SHOW UP EARLY, if you don't you'll have to wait for me to send off the first wave of people before I give instructions the second time, which won't happen until after 4pm. You can be late to start but if you are late at all to the finish, you will not be eligible for prizes, period. Last year's winner's got lucky on that one because of a technicality that will not be repeated.

Also, to keep this a fair event year in and year out, if you win first prize one year you will not be eligible for top prize the next year. Everything else is still fair game.

I've listed some frequently asked questions pertaining to the rules in a blog posting. Check it and if you have any questions I'll add to it. Thanks, Damian

From the useless half of Team Madam let me just say; that was a great time, a fabulously torturous way for me to get to know my new city and many of it's nicest residence. Thanks for the good time, I hope next year I still have the guts.

I'd just like to thank you again Damian. That was, without a doubt, the most fun I've ever had on a bike in a 24 hour period. Winning was indeed a great result for what was a lot of very hard work from me and an amazing amount of hard work and routing by Tad. Anyhow, thanks again, it was the best race I have ever competed in.
