About me:
My
name is Jacquelyn (Nickname "Jacquei" or
just plain "Jack).
I like to
call myself a Jack of many trades. (Cheesy pun intended.) I have
a multitude of creative hobbies, all of
which gravitate towards cosmetology, or
creative writing.
People who
know me seem to be constantly shocked by
how... multifaceted I am. But the parts of
me I really love to share can be broken
down into three:
The
Hairdresser
The Makeup Artist
The
Writer.
All of these are
talents of mine that I plan to use for
monetary benefits. At some point in the
future.
DAILY LIFE - Right now, I'm running 18
hour days. Monday thru Thursday, I have
school from 5-10pm, and I work Monday thru
Friday, 6am-2:30pm. Needless to say, I'm
burning the candle at both ends.
So if I don't respond to any of your
messages or comments right away, please be
patient with me. I'm an insanely busy
girl, and even my free time is packed with
plans and obligations.
I'm tryin' real hard, though. Chasin' the
dream.
I'm currently attending Paul Mitchell The School. I don't think I've
ever had so much fun before. I love doing
hair. I've always had a flair for the
artistic, and I've found a way to turn
that into a career.

I am a part of the very FIRST night class to cross through Paul Mitchell the School Spokane. If you want to schedule an appointment, all you have to do is call the school and schedule one with me. ^^ Click the above link for a price list and contact information. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
I take care in
everything that I do. I'm very meticulous,
very thorough, and good with my hands. I
have confidence in my blossoming
abilities
I know that I'm definitely
not going to be intimidated when someone
sits in my chair and presents a real
challenge. Truthfully, I really look
forward to it. The more challenges I'm
presented with now, the better I'll be in
the future.
I have a lot of plans
for my future as a hairdresser. In a
perfect world, I would be the next
Stephanie Kocielski, or Mikel Sandoval.

I've been doing makeup on a
semi-professional basis for about two
years now. I've done work for high fashion
shoots, as well as several weddings.
See my Makeup Portfolio photo
album to see samples of my work.
Presently, due to my school and work
schedule, I am not accepting general
makeup appointments. SO unless you know me
well enough to ask for a personal favor, I
regretably won't be doing makeup for you.
I'm really looking for ways to
expand my portfolio, though. Include more
fantastical makeup designs. I'll probably
be spending time at school doing crazy
stuff. We're going to be getting makeup
kits eventually... So I'll probably be
playing around with a bunch of different
stuff. Makeup is so much fun, for me. I
could do it all day long.

(coming soon)
I do plan
on getting a tutorials thing up... soon.
Eventually. Maybe within the next couple
of months.

I've been writing for as long
as I can remember. I've been told I'm
pretty good at it. My stories are
imaginative and purposefully complicated.
I've been working on a novel for a while.
It's my goal to have it completed within
the next year.

I do a
lot of journaling. The above link will
take you directly to my LiveJournal. I
update it often, usually filling it
with... whatever I feel like sharing with
the general public.
As a writer, my main influences are Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherilyn Kenyon, Lindsay Sands, Gena Showalter, and especially, ESPECIALLY Karen Marie Moning and J.R. Ward.
CURRENT PROJECT: Pandora's Box (A Novel)
Pandora's Box is the first novel in my Legends of Gehenna series. The series is a collection of memoirs, told by a character named Sara Vanbelle. As a government agent, her sole purpose in life is to track and kill vampires. The series is about her adventures, and misadventures, in her line of work. I've incorporated a lot of religious aspects in with this series, including bringing in characters such as Cain, Abel and Judas. But I definitely wouldn't categorize them as Christian novels. Not at all.

What brand of makeup to do you
use?++..
I'm a die hard MAC lover. The majority of
my products are MAC. I buy cheap mascara,
though. Just because mascara is mascara.
The difference between a $4 drug store
brand and a $20 department store brand is
so subtle, it's not really WORTH the extra
money.
In my opinion.

Do you offer makeup
application lessons?++..
Yes and no. When I apply makeup for a
client, I do offer coaching. But I don't
do formal 'lessons'. One of these days
I'll have tutorials available online.
..++
Will you cut my hair?
++..
Only if you schedule an appointment at the
Paul Mitchell school. I'm still not confident enough to do haircuts on my own, without their guidance.
..++
Are you as full of yourself as
you look?++..
Ha ha! No! Despite all my quirks and
extremely narcissistic tendencies, I'm
really nice. I make it my ultimate goal in
life to be polite and curteous.
..++
Do you have a webcam?
++..
Dear God. I do have one. But I never use
it. Asking me this question will most
likely result in me blocking your ass.
I don't do live chats. Not for any
reason.
..++
How are you enjoying Beauty
School?I've finally found where I
belong. Beauty School is the second best
thing in my life, right now. The first
being my wonderful boyfriend, of course.
^^
..++
Have you ever thought about modeling? ++..
A long time ago, I did. But nowadays? Not in a million years. I consider myself an artist, not a canvas. I'd want to be the creative mind behind the scenes.
