Sounds Like
Spacey bluegrass-tinged grooves and story-teller songwriting.
The 24th Peak Project is a constantly evolving project made up of the minds of several Denver idealist musicians. It began humbly titled Those Guys, with lead guitarist/banjo torturer Jeremy Reffel and rhythm guitarist/mandolin thwacker Burl Kramer working out covers and originals alike. Then early in 2006, bassist/flute fondler Adrian Alexander knocked on Reffel’s door while organizing with Environmental Action. A brief conversation revealed a shared love of Miles Davis, The Grateful Dead and… herbal supplements. Adrian was quick to offer his low-end services. The songwriting core of Reffel/Kramer/Alexander then became the basis for an often shifting line-up. First came tribal rock drummer Anthony Del Hierro, now a proud papa, followed by electro-funk madman Skyler Glover (hate to be his drum heads), and then mandolinist Richard Fiorillo. Going through many changes, the boys never stopped writing and working out their sound. With more gigs than ever booked into the beginning of the year, and no lack of ideas coming to mind, the only thing above The Peak is the endless sky.
24th Peak Project, Thank you for contributing to the Indie music scene! Without you, music would be uninspired and all sound the same. All of your music should be on iTunes if it isn’t already. My digital music INDIE record label RecEDGe Records can be found at: http://www. recordingedge. com/recedgerecords. html. Check us out and see how we can work together. All you need to do is click on any of the “Add My Songs To iTunes” buttons, fill out the form and we can get started. Thanks for being my friend!
You guys rock. Good job on signing with the Bucksnort. I can't remember, who is the best manager ever? I miss you guys and I hope you guys make a trip out here soon.
Humboldt county can be humbling for a musician but not for a band. Every one plays a musical instrument out here. Cream Puff, the rail rider I met on the street, plays a better mando then I do, yet there are very few bands. I blame all the pot, lots of heart but nooooo organization.
hey jess..... so i went to your house the morning after the party and the door was locked so i didnt go in.... lol i guess you people were pretty tired... lol how r u?
