About me: Dario Western was born in Withington, Manchester on December 27, 1970. From an early age, he became interested in music and photography, receiving his first camera and guitar at age 11. He emigrated to Brisbane in Australia with his family in 1982 and studied piano, violin and trombone in high school. Upon completion of school in 1989, he did a sound engineering course at the Conservatorium of Music, and has worked with a number of Brisbane musicians from being an assistant sound engineer to personal manager for garage rock band The Busymen from 1999 - 2003. He was in Britpop covers band Blackened in the 1990's with his then girlfriend Julie Hepburn, and upon disbanding teamed up with prolific electronic underground artist D-Wizz for the duo D-Wizz 2.0.
He has had a varied working life having worked in music retail, DJ-ing, delivering and devouring pizzas (hence his nickname 'fatpizzaman'!), and at a glamour modelling agency as a talent booker and assistant photographer to Owen Watkin.
Dario is also a keen nudist/naturist and some of his photographic work has been featured in the magazine "Australian Sun & Health", as well as his letters being published in "The Australian Naturist".
Dario can be described as being eccentric, politically incorrect, outspoken, but having a heart as big as his stomach!
Dario now lives in Bethania (Logan) and is spending his time working on his bands as well as helping his sister Melissa out with her children's entertainment company.

Jeezuz Dario..I mean why'd u think I quit TOMB "for good" ages ago?.. If I'd known more about legal aid less than a year ago I would've known that I could sue for being called a rapist on TOMB for 18+ months...unfortunately I made the mistake of doing a "it's the good man that does nothing" type post after the 18 month mark pointing the finger away from Pat and back to those not banning him and that's when they started filtering the word..I even lost a media job specifically because Pat came over from TOMB to a forum I started and did "cloudface is a rapist" posts..if there's anyway of proving/getting records somehow I'd gladly join in some sort of class action suit but I always just figured it would be my printout/saved copy of offensive/reputation impugning thread/comment etc vs they're amazingly accidentally formated harddrive.. Mostly the circlejerkers who write for both Rave and TimeOff got there because of knowing someone rather than talent (2/3rds of the reg posters at Depot now write for Rave) and what they do write is worth the price you paid for the mag..

Hey Daz, sad (?) news about TOMB...well sad that you expcted more from them maybe...it must hard to stay viruous up at those lofty heights of street press "journo" and the online output of people like you and I are clearly harmful to general consumption...it's funny to call someone that the TOMBsters don't like a rapist tho....geez I really regret not suing them...
Anywho, don't worry after a month or two you'll start to find it hard to remember why you wasted so much time on TOMB...I hardly think of it at all except that I still pick up TImeOff (gawd hasn't it showed it's MOR colours lately) to see when gigs are on etc..
BTW technically I quit TOMB...I was banned and then rejoined for one "I aint comingbac" post (then of course was banned again)...do what you like tho', I just don't spend as much time OTI as I used to anyway..
