About me:

None of My Ninja Turtle Collection is for Sale. If you're looking for stuff like what I have, search ebay.

My friends call me Ivey, I'm a person who likes to spend time with friends, watch TV, go to the movies and just hang out with people. I got a small handful of friends, because a lot of people find me weird for being myself.

I'm most known as Turtle Girl in my local area and through people that know of me. I became a fan of Ninja Turtles in 1989, and have collected them ever since. I love to make Turtles a big part of my life, as I travel to events, wear TMNT shirts almost daily and spend a lot of my time doing things that invold the Turtles. Why? Because that's what makes me happy, I enjoy being around Ninja Turtle stuff, and I also enjoy sharing what makes me happy with others.

I use to enjoy drawing, swimming, wearing costumes, and writting. Though in October 2004 I got injured at work and my right arm hurts when I try to do any of these. Swimming because it can't stand anything cold. So winter is a killer on me, as the pain gets so bad it brings me down to the ground. I can't type as much as I use too either, though I at least try to keep up with typing to stay in touch with so many awesome friends.

Conventions:

I want to open this up as an option for conventions out there. I am known real well for TMNT, as a fan. I have a lot of knowledge and I love to share it and I love conventions. If your convention would like me as a guest speaker I would be happy to do almost any type of TMNT panel you may be interested in, from "How TMNT connect to Anime", "History of TMNT", or even helping run a Guest TMNT panel. I will keep the panel on topic, supply information to anyone who is interested in, and try to keep the panels fun for both the fans and guest that show up.

Who I'd like to meet:

This is kind of funny of me to be doing, cause usually if there's someone I really wanna meet I some how meet them.

I would like to meet the voices for the original TMNT series. To me they are the Turtles voices, since they're really the ones who gave us the sounds that we listen for when we hear the Turtles talk.

Though I would also like to meet more TMNT fans that live in my local area that I can be friends with. It's always cool meeting people who's got the same interest in you that.

General

My number 1 interset is Family, I love to know what's going on with my family. I like to be there for them, I love helping out where I can. My Grandma (who was like Splinter) to me taught me how important family really is. I'm not looking to have a family of my own when I do get out and about, because I want to travel a lot and not worry about destroying anyone else's life with what I want to do. Though the family I have is always going to be important to me.

My number 2 interest is what most people would think my ..1 interest should be, which is Ninja Turtles. Through the Turtles, I've learn to read, defend myself and made many friends. I've gottan to entertain hundreds to thousands of people and see all these happy faces. They've brought so much joy into my life, that I can never really turn my back on them.

I like to make music videos for AMV. Though of course I try to center them around the Turtles, since I'm a huge TMNT fan so there's always a mixture of the anime TMNT so that I'm not breaking their rules and there's anime in my videos. Though I like having them at AMV for the exposure to keep getting the TMNT around. Anime, Si Fi, Cartoons, Toys, Animals, Traveling, Karate, Muppets, Comic, Movies (comdey, Adventure, and Action), and weapons.
Music

Of course I'm a fan of the Ninja Turtle music... "Coming Out of their Shells Tour" and "Getting Down in Your Town Tour". I also do watch "Turtle Tunes" and "We Wish You a Turtle Christmas"

I'm an oldies fan when it comes to music for the most part. Groups like the Monkees, The Beatles, The Turtles, and so many other great bands that came from the 60's hold my interest when it comes to music. I listen to the Oldies station in my local area when out and about 104.3 WOMC.

Oldies isn't the only thing I listen to though, I also enjoy Weird Al's music, I grew up off of his work. I got many of his songs, including around 6 hours worth of his music that I listen to on my computer. I love comdey within music if you can understand the words, so other comdey albums I like are Monty Python and Dr. Demento.

I also enjoy Musical music, like from Oliver Twist, Nightmare Before Christmas, Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, and many other great musicals. That goes along with most of Disney music from their movies as well. From Lion King, Tarzan, Little Mermaid, Mulan and most of their other albums.

Other music I've recently gottan into is Rush and Linkin Park.
Movies

Number 1 Favorite movie goes to TMNT 1 (1990). Jim Henson's Creature Shop did an AWESOME job, the writting in the movie was wonderful. It just was very believeable esp when I was young and didn't see the mistakes that are in the movie ([;{-)

Other favorite movies are the other two TMNT movies, Willy Wonka, Howard the Duck, Roger Rabbit, Back to the Future, Chucky's Bride and Chucky's Seed, and many other movies along those lines. I enjoy anime movies like Princese Mononoke and Spirited Away.
Television
Favorite TV show: Ninja Turtles (Original, NT:TNM and 4Kids)

My favorite thing to watch on TV is cartoons, my TV can be left on the Cartoon Network or Toon Disney almost all day long with no problem. I'm entertained easy I guess.

I also enjoy watching "House", Anime and some other TV shows... though not usually into getting a favorite TV show durning the evening. I perfer to hang out with friends, than watch TV at night.
Books

I'm not much of a reader, because I have a reading problem. So when it comes to books the most I can say is my favorite is comic books. And that goes right back to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've collected all of Mirage Vol. 1, Archie, Mirage Vol. 2, Image, Dreamwave and keeping up with Mirage Vol. 4. I also have collected all the side comics that invold the TMNT such as Tales of the TMNT, Specails by Archie, Cross overs with the Flamming Carrot and much more. If I hear the Turtles are in a comic, I'll check it out and try to get my hand on it.
Heroes

My Heros is my Mom, Grandma and Dad. All of which has done things that have saved my life more than once. My family is very close and I amire how loving and careing they are. I love how strong they are when they need to be, and I can never thank them enough for being there for me as much as they were. Without these three people I would be dead by now, either beaten to death, killed myself or just planned straved.

My mom was there to protect me when others would gang up on me, she was the one to scare them away. I was ganged up on by 15 to 30 kids at my school as they would beat me, throw me in front of traffic, and push me into iron polls. They were out to kill me, the way they would hurt me was clear. Though my mom would wait at the school to pick me up, she would break up the fights when she would see them, she would talk to the teachers to try and get help with stopping the fights. She even put me into a new grade school to stop the fighting, and when I went back to a school with those other kids, she put me into Karate and the fighting stopped.

My Grandma, she was the one who kept my head level. I'd come home crying, because of being hurt so bad. I'd call up my Grandma and she'd listen to my full day of school and what happened. She would have me laughing before the end of the phone call, she kept me from falling into depression. My Grandma became my best friend, as I called her everyday from when I was five years old, till she passed away from Cancer in 2003. I miss her a lot.

My dad, big and scary as he looks he's really a great father. He's there for us, he protects us, he makes sure we have a home and food on the table. My dad even if not feeling well will go to work to make sure he's got his pay check to take care of the family. He's given up a lot to make sure our family is taken care of, and even passed up a big chance to make it big... though because there was no way to say if he would or not... he picked sticking with his job for his family. My dad is the best father I could of ever wished to have.
