This was sent to me from Duane Craig. Wanted to share it with you guys!!:
LIVE ANIMALS is a trip for me back to when I first started watching horror films - straight out of the late 1970's & early 80's and looking every bit of that bleachy colored style that set them apart from everything that would follow.

I enjoyed an egaging plot, a tough situation, a disturbing film - and I love those more than other types horror films anyway. I love to have my imagination spinning while watching a film. I like not being shown everything and still being given a firm clue as to how horrible something was. I love suspense and every use of it.

I think there will always be those film snob types that pick apart films based on what Hollywood has brainwashed us to accept as the standard....but fuck them. They can have Hollywood. I want the underground, the indie-films, those not afraid to let a budget restrain their passion for getting that story onto a screen. That's what I got, too. Great job. As I write and have even filmed some pretty disturbing shit, too, I think this city is going to have a damned fine horror film collection to speak of. Let's not ever stop dishing them out. I'd like a melding of the minds someday, even. I'm quite the FX capable guy, too, so hit me up if you ever need me or just want an extra gorehound on set.

    Thanks for the carnage,
