About me:

Being a teacher has forced me to transform into a pseudo intellectual and mature professional who doesn't laugh at and/or commit silly pranks or puns (at least between the hours of 7AM and 4PM). It's been a difficult transition, but I've learned to "be mean till Halloween" and turn my back on the class when I can't contain my chuckle. As much as I love the sun, sand, and surf of gorgeous Cali, I am a true Mid-westerner at heart. I get homesick when I think about scraping a car full of snow (only for a minute though). I hate the fact that the friendly driver's wave has been replaced with the one finger salute and that peoples purse dogs wear more expensive clothes than me. Also, no one here knows how to play duck, duck, gray duck after eating a meaty homemade hotdish. Still, life in Los Angeles is treating me well.
