Movies (Doc's, foreign stuff, hell I like like most films, even some bad ones!), music, art, photography (mostly Digital SLR, but I'll always try and shoot a roll of B&W when I can), Vespa, Lambretta, Architecture: turn of the century stuff most of the time, Music, films, & some school work too
Music
For the last month or two it's been soul, lots and lots of basic 60's era soul. Damn I can't get enough of Ottis right now. Anyway, here's some other stuff: Violent Femmes, 1st and 2nd gen Ska, Punk(mostly 70-80's era), proper Rocksteady, some 80's stuff and the following: Ramones, English Beat, Floggy Molly, Buzzcocks, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedy's, 3 O'clock, Who, Drop Kick Murphy's, Talking Heads, X, Billy Bragg, Jam, Elvis Costello , Specials, Madness, Soul Caughing, Clash, DOA, and Wilco if that helps?
Movies
I have a soft spot for old Ealing Studio films (think Alec Guinees stuff) as well as many 50's & 60's English Kitchen sink dramas ("Saturday Night, Sunday Morning"). But here are a few of my fav films: Breaking Away, Trios Colors - Red/White/Blue, Grey Gardens, Salesman, Hotel Terminus, Yojimbo, the Red Violin, Shadowlands, A ClockWork Orange, 2001, Dr. Strangelove, Lavender Hill Mob, Killing, Get Carter (Orig), Small Faces, Fargo, Akiru, Wallace & Gromit, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Spirited Away, Alfie (Orig) LOTR & Horses Mouth.
Television
Huge PBS Fan but over the years I've also beena huge fan of -Homicide, POV, Front Line, 6' Under, Monty Python, Traffik , FLCL, Anime Unleashed, The Wire (best show on TV these days), Emergency, Muppets, St. Elseware, star trek, Kids in the Hall.
Damn I still can't wait for the next season of the Wire.
Books
School stuff mostly these days. But the last book for fun was the last of the Harry Potter books. Once done I passed it onto a coworker.
My over all reading tends towards a lot of non-fiction reading, but here are some authors I've generally enjoyed: Sarah Vowell & David Sedaris, David Simon, Stetson Kennidy, Studs Terkel, JD Salinger, Richard Adams, Garrison Keillor, Dorthy Parker, Spike Milligin, JRR Tolkien (Dork shit). Just to name a few . . .

About me: I don't take my self that seriously, you shouldn't either. A friend once described me as "uptight and Dynomight!". I'm really really busy with boring stuff like Linex and Library books. If I'm lucky I get to play with my new Canon 40d SLR. I tend to want to be sarcastic, but tend to be more sardonic at times. If I can pull your leg with a bad joke, I'll laugh too.
Who I'd like to meet: Folks, just folks in general.
Is that too much to ask?
Or just One Smart Cookie.
OH OHH if I'm really lucky, maybe Sarah Vowell?
Otherwise, I can always use another friend. The odd and odity are fine.
