About me:
Tara Station is the newest Irish bar in Harrisburg right now. Happy Hour runs from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with $1.50 Domestic drafts. Don't fret though because these same drafts are $2.00 all day, everyday! Parking is free in the lot next door (below the train station) after 4:00 pm.
The name Tara Station derives from the train station located in Dublin, Ireland. This hot new bar is home to a hodgepodge of people ranging from all ages to all social classes, and welcomes anyone looking to have a good time!
Stuart Delves, Brad Straub and Michael Hennessey are the trifecta of the bar biz! Stuart, orignally of Dublin, is a marketing genius and the creator of the Guinness & Oyster Festival that he pioneered 10 years ago in NYC while running his own pub. Brad is a 15 year verteran of Philadelphia's bar scene, and in his free time teaches his trade at Captial Bartending School. Mike, who many might remember from behind the bar at other local night spots proves to be a natural behind the bar. He is a master of the Harrisburg night life and knows the ins and outs of all the best spots.
With this amazing talent behind the bar and the eclectic crowds that it draws, Tara Station is clearly the happening place. Be sure to stop into 25 South 4th Street and say hi to the guys and have a pint. Cheers!!..
