For over twenty years Stanley has been writing music. His lyrics are a reflexion of both a young boy and man who never stops evolving, growing and living. Many of his songs were written over 15 years ago, and have matured alongside him.
The fact that only now they are being recorded on track, is mostly due to his many other passions.
Stanley has been a practicing dental surgeon for over 10 years. He runs a highly successful practice in the heart of old Lisbon in Portugal,(www.whitelifedesign.com). His dedication to art and perfection can be seen on the smiles of thousands of patients he has treated over the years.
As respected international lecturer on his work and his philosophy regarding practicing, Stanley is used to facing big crowds.
Finally after fulfilling yet another ambition of producing the third season of a very succesfull TV program,(http://www.tvi.iol.pt/doutorprecisodeajuda/) where he shows his skills to almost 2 million viewers a week, he realised it was time to follow his heart and sing.
For many years his close friends would listen to him stand up and sing his mind and soul out whenever he could.
In the summer of 2006, he and his long time friend and world famous songwriter/producer, Sacha Skarbek( www.sachaskarbek.com) (http://www.myspace.com/sachaskarbek) decided to give it a go.
They started by recording 4 songs in septmber 2007, in London. A team of very talented musicians were brought together and created what Stanley has been dreaming of all his life. In 2008, stanley wrote more songs alongside Luke Potashnik, Jeff Cohen and James Bryan.
The result which exceded all of his own expectations, is a blend of sounds that takes us back to old school slide guitars and upbeat rythm… Leaving the feeling for life well lived.
