Lucian Scott is a dark metal band based in Nashville, TN. Founded in 2005 by Lucian after he tired of trying to fit into other bands "groove", he started one of his own. Known for his brooding lyrics, long compositions, and dynamic vocal range, many people immediately pick up on his Type O Negative/Danzig influences. Soon joined by Jason (The Blue Nowhere) on guitar and Harley (Southern Brewtality) on bass and vox, the band easily becomes recognized in a region where this brand of music isn't the norm. Their debut album 'Defiance on the Steps of Heaven' was well received and sold both domestically and abroad, along with getting airplay on many web and college stations. Many additional songs never released on disk are available at various internet websites controlled by the band. The group are currently writing and recording their third collection of material yet to be titled, expecting a 2011 release.
