Nobody else around here! Formed in February 2006, Flynn529 evolved from some of the musicians at the legendary Eamonn’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Loudonville, NY. Gaining new fans each time they crank it up, Flynn529 has performed in a variety of venues around the "Great Northeast" from small intimate pub settings to festival stages with the likes of Greenwhich Meantime, Rathkeltair, BarleyJuice and Hair-Of-The-Dog (how's THAT for some shameless name-dropping?!).
Their music is a stew--- with healthy proportions of Celtic and American folk tradition, a teaspoon of the blues, and a few dashes of those 60s and 70s AM/FM radio chestnuts you find yourself humming on the way to work. Expect to hear original compositions and covers of anything from the Clancy Brothers to Johnny Cash to John Hiatt. These guys love to play any song they get their hands on and wouldn’t mind you hooligans coming out to party, drink, sing, and laugh all night with them.
As a performer of primarily acoustic music since the seventies, his immersion in traditional and contemporary Celtic music was launched through a regular solo gig at the legendary Eamonn’s Irish Pub earlier this decade. As the band’s lead vocalist, his songbook ranges from the lyrical charm of the Clancy Brothers to the whiskey-soaked blues of Howlin’ Wolf.Tom’s own compositions conjure up encounters with gypsies, voodoo queens, mermaids, and street hustlers. He clearly has issues.

A tech-maven who constantly drags the band kicking and screaming towards the cutting edge, this journeyman multi-instrumentalist has a three-decade list of credentials in Celtic, blues, folk, and rock bands up and down the east coast.Serving as the band’s sound tech & bassist, he contributes a solid foundation to its ever-evolving sound and rarely takes credit for stirring up most onstage mayhem.
"...Life is too short. So love, laugh and have fun!..."
Don’t be fooled by his care-free choirboy exterior. He has a “history”.Bill’s signature tenor harmonies and percussion are key ingredients of the band’s sound. His uncanny ability to identify new, hook-laden material for the band is a welcome asset.Unlike his brother Tom, he claims not to have issues.
A relatively recent convert to Celtic music, the band’s senior statesman, (aka “the editor”) has a long background in blues and folk ensembles. As a soloist, Mike adds color to the band’s sound with a respect for both its traditional and modern roots.Caution-- this is not a person you want to sit next to in a card game.

Since the age of 15, James played in Celtic, folk, and rock bands as a percussionist with his father, Joe, throughout the northeast. When not onstage, he spends most of his time mastering the latest video games and patiently explaining the difference between death metal and Pink Floyd to the rest of the band.Thankfully, he has not yet developed issues.
" I don't want to work!!! Just want to bang on my drum all day!!!"
Cheers, gentlemen! I enjoyed your show last night. Wish I didn't have to leave after the first set, though. Keep up the good work and I'll see you again soon!
