Given that i am a huge movie fan (just ask my friends) i have a lot of movies which have stolen my heart however, i shall try to keep it to my all time favs. Sideways (although, Alexander Payne has made nothing but flawless movies, so check them all out), Garden state, Run lola run, les invasions barbarian, only human, evil dead (all of them), anything by kevin smith (snoogins), anything by richard linklater (esp, dazed and confused, before sunrise, before sunset), Donnie Darko (theatrical, not directors cut), the station agent, Casablanca, Some like it hot, princess bride, the three colours trilogy, the original star wars trilogy (4, 5 and 6), private parts, magnolia, stanley/hard eight, Snakes on a Motherfucking Plane, Brick, shortbus, .......ok thats enough for nowTelevision

Bill Hicks probably. The man was not only a comedian but he was also a political genius. He sadly died at 34 from pancreatic cancer but i decided to put him as my hero for that reason as heroes are usually one of two things when you meet them 1) Jerks or 2) losers so with Bill Hicks, I could never be disappointed. RIP
