Television is tool of propaganda used by the elite powers to condition our thoughts & behaviour. Having said that I do like Coronation Street. Comedy progs are also my thing. I love Father Ted, The Office, Rising Damp. The Mighty Boosch is enormously creative. I try to avoid adverts. As John Berger said advertising robs you of love for yourself & agrees to sell it back to you for the price of a product.

About me: I never had a great attention-span at school & often would act the clown. I'm always looking to joke around & try to create humour, but whether it be bad or not it often amuses me. This would be a surprise to read by someone who met me or even some who 'knew' me since my outward appearance can be very stony-faced & serious-looking. Be warned that still-waters run all the way to the bottom & lurking beneath the facade is a very mischevious & cheeky character. I will admit to not having cliched guy interests such as watching all-action films such as Die Hard. Cars being set on fire & endless macho stuff isn't my thing. However, I do like some violent films like the Krays but only since certain characters fascinate me & the story is well-told. I suppose it's to do with the fact that some things are believable & actually happen whereas other fighting movies are farcical & unrealistic. My real confession is that I like psychological movies, ones where you really get inside somebody's head like A Clockwork Orange or One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest. Most films are predictable, but directors like Stanley Kubric turn things on their head & his films take you on unexpected twists
On a lighter note I'm a hugh fan of [[rock music]] and the [[electric guitar]]. I mainly like old school rock since it has more originality & virtuosity, nowadays there is too much emphasis on image & other superficial qualities.
