I enjoy a good book, a cup of tea, an afternoon at the art museum, a night at the jazz club, a hxc show, an orchestra concert, a thrift store, a leisurely stroll, a calm lie in the grass, a friendly political talk, a clever tune.
I'm a Christian, but I'm a Christian only because I'm passionately pursuing a lovesick God, not because I've conformed to the religious mindset of the complacent Western church. I don't find my faith through dry tradition and mindless ritual, but through the fresh moves of the Holy Spirit and an intense relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe in biblical inerrancy and, though mistakes are inevitable, I do my best to uphold and be witness to its every word.

This beautiful girl’s name is Amanda. She’s been my best friend for six years. She's fearless. And she’s extraordinary. She’s an overwhelmingly artistic, mysterious, hilarious girl who I've admired for years. She's just so fun and we can talk for hours. I respect her for her determined love for the Lord and I absolutely love that she’s straight edge and proud of it. Though she may not even realize, she means the world to me and I love her more than anyone.
This awesome one is Mark. He's changed my life. He’s like a brother to me and I know I could tell him anything. He plays hot lava tag and hide-and-seek with me, he swings on swings with me, he brushes my hair, and talks to me for hours and hours. We play music together and it sounds better than anything you’ve ever heard. He makes me laugh, I like that. But I especially like that he's overflowing with the joy of the Lord. He’s one of my best friends.
My baby Dain. Oh how I love this boy. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful he is. He's hilarious and gets me laughing so hard, probably made me pee a lil a time or two. I don't think I've ever met a boy I could talk to for so many hours at a time and get such killer advice. Ah, he's just so much fun! And crazy! Like for real, he is CRAZY. I love him. SO MUCH.
