    WELCOME! Peter Steenild is now working on his first solo-album. Born in 1966 in Nibe, DK. Began guitarplaying in his teens, lived in Århus 1983-89, working as a studio- and touring musician. Studied at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles 1991, from where he took the prize: "Guitar Stylist of the Year". Copenhagen was homebase in 1991-2001, where Peter collaborated with several prominent artists in all kind of genres; jazz, blues, rap, rock, folk and avantgarde. The collaboration with Hans Sydow, Poul Dissing and author Rune T Kidde resulted in the album "Brødrene Gedicht" which was nominated for a Danish Music Award in 2000. In 2001 Peter produced an album for folksinger Anapurna, and in 2003 he released the album "Down to the River" co-written with singer Karoline Hausted. ********************************************************************************** DISCOGRAPHY: Digt Juke Box: "Digt Juke Box", Kulturby KBH, 1996.
