Biography

Hailing from the UK's newest city Milton Keynes, a group of riotous kids birthed and raised a band to break away from 'the norm', mixing electro, dubstep and drum'n'bass with pop punk, hardcore and metal, combined with a collective love of all things retro, old school and computer game influenced.
In 2007 Casiokid released their first album 'Casiokid' on EmotronLabel in the UK and on Xtal Records in Japan, selling 7000units worldwide. In 2009 they released the 'Think About It' EP for digital download and the 'Your Heart In Digital' EP on Cd. In 2010 the EP 'In Minds of Forlorn Hearts' was released, a re-work and re-master of both EPs as an introduction to their eagerly awaited second album.
The band toured the UK and Europe 5 times between 2007-2010, supporting the likes of Zebrahead, Hadouken!, AndrewWK, BrokeNCYDE, Millencolin, MCLars, BreatheCarolina, FACT, Attack!Attack!, Frankmusik, TheSecretHandshake and AmyCanFlyy. Casiokid most recently toured in Europe with hardcore electro bands 'We Butter the Bread with Butter' and 'Haribo macht kinder froh', and are now looking to tour more in 2012 while they continue to work on finalising their second album and planning their debut video.
Casiokid, to date, have sold over 13,000 records and have now performed over 200 live shows, played festivals in the UK and in Europe, were voted one of the top 25 Unsigned bands in the UK and have been featured in various magazines and fanzines worldwide. They are a band that work hard and deserve a chance to earn big things.
