A few of my fave things/peeps: Books, my niece & nephew, the sound of the ocean, movies, kids, swimming, sleeping in my comfy bed, writing, kissing, laughing at life's little twists and absurdities, second chances at life--rebirth process, corn on the cob, cardinals--the birds themselves not the team, hummingbirds, butterflies, waterlilies, chocolate covered pretzels, black sand beaches in Greece, bravery and courage in any form, people who take emotional risks, speaking, hearing Spanish, kindness, old, lined faces, strong eye contact, poetry, getting chills or deja vu
ETC.............
Music
Yep. From classical to blues to reggae, to folk I like most types--not a fan of country, metal, or rap though.
Movies
New fave is Once (an indie Irish film), Truly, Madly, Deeply, Gone with the Wind--yes--Godfathers I and II--hated the third one though, Mindwalk, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, The Matrix series, Life is Beautiful, Whale Rider, Princess Bride, Wedding Singer, lots more but it's easier to say that there aren't too many movies I don't like--I have been accused of being a movie slut when at the video store with friends who get most annoyed that I've seen almost everything twice.
Television
I like goofy shows like Scrubs...LOVE The Office, Also liked Will and Grace, loved Friends, Simpsons, ER, Actor's Studio, Independent Film Channel and sometimes Conan O'Brien or Saturday Night Live.
Books
Too many to list but I'll give it a go...big fan of Shakespeare, Anais Nin, D.H. Lawrence, Alice Hoffman, JK Rowling, Rumi, Neruda, Walt Whitman, Thoreau, Katharine Neville, Dan Brown and a bunch of others I can't think of right now...
Heroes
My grandmother who passed away, Lance Armstrong, my friend Mara, who recently lost the battle against colon cancer, my parents, all of my friends and Superman of course.

People who don't take themselves or life too seriously...

Hi Courtney. Great news about Follett. As a former mentally ill person I applaud you for writing this book. Personal transformation and healing IS possible ... I know ... I experienced it firsthand.
Thanks for adding me. I'd love to see if there is a way I can enrich your life.
